Häromdagen var jag på plats i Stockholm för att spela tysk spion i en japansk film, som kommer att ha premiär nästa sommar. Vi filmade vid Katarina kyrka på Södermalm. Den här scenen utspelar sig på 1940-talet, så när man tittade sig omkring (och zoomade bort filmteamet ur synfältet…) och bara såg folk i 40-talskläder och -frisyrer kändes det verkligen som om man förflyttats tillbaka i tiden. Solen sken, luften var höstig och frisk och jag fick användning för mina japanska språkkunskaper. Vilken härlig dag det var!

The other day I was in Stockholm to play a German spy in a Japanese movie, which will be released next summer. We filmed at the Katarina church at Södermalm. This particular scene took place in the 1940’s, so when you looked around (and zoomed out the film crew from the view…) it really felt like you’d been transported back in time: everybody was dressed in 1940’s clothing and had 1940’s hairdos. The sun was shining, the air was crisp and fresh and I got to use my knowledge in Japanese. What a wonderful day it was!

För ett par veckor sedan var jag med min vän Kim, som är manusförfattare och producent, och några av hennes vänner på lanseringsfesten för skådespelerskan Missi Pyles nya musikvideo ”I Wanna F**k You Up”. Tillställningen hölls på King King Club i Hollywood. Efter lite tekniska missöden och därmed fantastisk ”pausunderhållning” av Missi Pyle fick vi efter någon timmes väntan vår nyfikenhet stillad och videon visad för oss inte bara en utan två gånger. A couple of weeks ago I attended the launch party of the actress Missi Pyle’s new music video ”I Wanna F**k You Up”, together with my producing and screenwriting friend Kim and some of her friends. The party was being held at King King Club in Hollywood. After some technical problems, and thereby live entertainment by Missi Pyle, we finally got our curiosity appeased and got to watch the video not only once but twice.
