Scandic Continental

Nu blir det lite snack i egen sak här och lite oförställd reklam för min arbetsgivare. Men jag är stolt och det är nära nu. Riktigt nära. Om bara fyra korta veckor öppnar Scandic Continental och det kommer bli något så fint att ni inte har sett på maken. Jag smög runt i huset nu på eftermiddagen och det är så coolt att möblerna börjar komma på plats, ytorna börjar bli klara och det är liksom möjligt att se hur det kommer att bli. Det har ju varit ett projekt jag arbetat intensivt med i ett år och att se det nästan färdigt, jag inbillar mig att det är så för föräldrar när kids tar studenten.

Redan nu kan ni förresten kika förbi på Centralen för vi har flyttat dit delar av lobbyn för att ge folk en känsla för hur det kommer att se ut. Det finns sköna soffor, bord och stolar om man vill sitta och hänga eller jobba lite – vi har till och med ett mötesrum med allt man behöver av konferensteknik. Det kostar gratis och går att boka. Vi är där hela veckan så kom förbi vetja!

Here’s a post with unmasked advertising for my employer. But I’m proud and we’re close. Real close. In only four short weeks, we’re opening Scandic Continental and it’s going to be amazing. I snuck around in the building this afternoon and it’s so cool to see the hotel taking shape with furniture up and surfaces polished. This has been a project I’ve had close for over a year and to see it almost finished, well I reckon this is how parents feel when their kids graduate. 

You can already now get a feel for the place if you pop buy the Central station. We’ve moved part of the lobby to let people know what it’s going to look like. Comfy couches, tables and chairs if you want to hang out or work – we’ve actually built a meeting room if you need one of those in central Stockholm. It’s complete with tech and stuff. The cost is zilch and you can reserve it if you want to. We’ll be there all week, why don’t you come on by!
