BIG MARLEY’S UFC ON ESPN 3 DRAFTKINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This weekend, we’ve got a 12-fight card in Minnesota. DraftKings has some strong competitions for us to win a lot of money from this week. The most important GPP is a $15 buy-in and $25k goes to 1st place with a total of $130k being paid out. They also possess a Qualifier only contest for $175,000. There will be 100 qualifiers for that competition and they will compete for a $50k first place price and $175k will be distributed between all 100 entries that match. There are only 14 more seats remaining so that there won’t be far more time to be eligible if you’re attempting to. I will try to receive my 3rd seat this week to maximum it if I could. Those Qualifier only contests can be real bankroll suckers, so be careful chasing those too hard. I’ll probably stick to the top GPP this week and throw a handful of entries at that $25k prize, and then I will probably take a couple shots at the Q. I will also be posting H2Hs as well as picking up H2Hs through the week to receive a fantastic quantity of drama into cash games.
With that said, let us get into a couple plays I like this week along with my fade of the week:
Cash Game play of this week — Jared Gordon — $9,200
I like Gordon to get the win this weekend and he will be a money match play of mine personally. There are better fights to target if we’re looking for 1st round knockouts however I’ll be focusing more on people in GPPs. I like the floor and the ceiling of Gordon here and that’s why he’s the cash play of this week. I don’t think Moret has got the ability to actually examine the chin of Gordon’s which has seemed to be his biggest weakness lately. With the pace Gordon sets I presume he has 100+ upside in a decision win and I really don’t see him becoming completed here so he ought to have a solid floor. I think his floor in a triumph is probably 80+ as well that is totally fine for cash games. This is a catchy feeble, however this is my personal preferred money game place of the week.
GPP drama of the week — Francis Ngannou — $8,800
I had to proceed with Ngannou here. When he wins it is probably a 1st round knockout. Which is +100 about the betting line. If he receives that 1st round KO, then he scores over 100 DK points and at his 8.8k salary which will place him on the 25k lineup. He’ll be quite chalky this week though so make sure you load him up if you are multi-entering if you want to find leverage over the area. I do think JDS is a live underdog here as well, so I’ll be targeting both sides of the struggle, but I do see 100-105 DK points coming from Ngannou here and that can beat a lot of the fighters priced above him.
Underdog play of this week — Junior Albini — $8,000
I really don’t love this card this week because I’m not picking any real underdogs with any confidence. Albini is the only man who’d be considered an underdog that I think will win and that I did pick him put 1u on him as my free bet of the week. On DraftKings we’re getting him for $200 less than Greene but that I would not be shocked if Albini was the favorite on the gambling line going into the fights. With these guys being Heavyweights, it does not take much to get a knockout and if Albini can do that at $8k he could give me a rush in the perfect lineup.
Fade of this week — Emily Whitmire $8,500
I faded Whitmire in her previous fight also and she burned me by scoring a 1st round entry. I’m going back to the fade though and trusting the same does not occur. On a card where I am choosing basically each favorite, I’d rather pick the fighters with 1st round knockout upside over Whitmire in her $8.5k price label. I am not certain that going to the floor is at her best interest in this struggle and when she remains standing I don’t see her paying off value in a triumph. If I was making 150 lineups this week then I’d be taking some shots on Whitmire, but I will likely only make ~20 and she won’t make my player pool with this many lineups.
