Craig Overton will substitute Chris Woakes from England’s team for the fourth Ashes Test against Australia at Old Trafford, which begins on Wednesday.
Fast bowler Overton has been added for a replacement for James Anderson, who is from this show with a calf injury to England’s group.
All-rounder Woakes has taken nine wickets at the previous three Tests and scored 112 runs.
The five-match series is tied with 2 Tests.
Their batting order has also changed, with Joe Denly place to open next to Rory Burns and Jason Roy moving the order down to four.
