Welcome to the very first part of the serie with travel webb tv reports Blogozine visits special and interesting locations across our globe. This travel report from Switzerland and the experience is shared by Lisa Sjödahl and Nadia Dagelin – Enjoy!
In this first episode the journey goes to the trendy and financial sealed Zurich in the german part of Switzerland where we visit and review the iconic five star superior hotel Atlantis by Giardino where besides Lisa and Nadia, celebrities like Rihanna and Perl Jam like to stay while in Zurich. The Hotel has hosted iconic Swedish band ABBA during their golden days and celebrities of that magnitude of course enjoy their stay in the Atlantis 250 square meeter Metropolis Suite.
Located in the outskirts of the beautiful and historical Zurich the Atlantis hotell offers closeness to and a magnificent view of the city, yet a interesting location where the city meets the countryside.
The hotel has two restaurants, Hide and seek, a urban get away with a superb menu and one of two Zurich located restaurants with two Guide Michelin stars, Ecco.
At the Atlantis you also find a fantastic indoor auruveda spa, a outdoor pool, garden and terass that is situated next to a farm with horses and cows that gives the perfect country blend of fresh nature in the air witch is a perfect combination to the closeness to the city.

On one side of the hotel you see the city view and on the other side your view is the hotels spa and garden surrounded by a beautiful forrest and a mountain. Its a perfect opportunity for a walk or even a horse back ride. On top you find the perfect romantic picknick and photo location high above Zuich with a view over the lake and the crisp swiss mountaintops that surrounds it.
The Atlantis by Giardino is a five star superior design Hotel with origins from the glamorous part of 1970s when it first was established. Back then it was always a popular home for world famous starts like ABBA, Eric Clapton when visiting Zurich.
2014 the Atlantis hotel was totally transformed and renovated with interior design and 2015 it was reopened. By then with a totally new and up to date look, avant garde modern design but still influenced by the original 70s glamour to honour the past and take it to the future. Ofcourse along with the new infusion of holistic and auruveda values that runs through the entire Atlantis concept.
In the entre guests are welcomed by the Lion that also is the animal symbol for Zurich. This piece of art is made by a Israeli artist and is made by steel.
The accent colour of Atlantis is turquoise as the water in the Spa pool. The turquoise colour is found on towels, blankets and on details like flower pots in the hotel rooms.
As the fives star hotel Atlantis is, of course it from time to time hosts first class celebrities and for that the Metropolitan Suite with its 240 square meeter offers the most exclusive Atlantis experience for your entire crew if necessary.
