Hertiginnan Kate of Cambridge på Bob Cat´s världspremiär i London

Bob Cat fick hård konkurrens på sin egen världspremiär av filmen ”A Street Cat Named Bob” av ingen mindre än hertiginnan av Cambridge – Kate – som nog tog priset som den snyggaste katten på röda matan under kvällen.

Som beskyddare av ”Action on Addiction” var hon kanske en självskriven gäst eftersom ”A Street Cat Named Bob” är en sann historia om en osannolik vänskap mellan den unga hemlösa James Bowen och en stryk katt som ändrade hans liv.

Välgörenhetsorganisationen Action on Addiction hjälper, skapar hopp och frihet för de som lever i beroende och de som lever tillsammans med människor som har beroendeproblem. Det är faktiskt även Englands enda välgörenhetsorganisation som jobbar brett över hela fältet när det gäller beroendeproblematik med allt som har med behandling att göra, forskning, kampanjer samt professionell utbildning och stöd för familjer och barn till beroende.

Charles och Camilla besöker Sandringham Flower Show

En kall ale sitter aldrig fel, särskilt inte en varm dag i juli! Att gå runt på Sandringham Flower Show och titta på blommor, hantverk och lokalproducerad mat är minsann ett törstigt göra. Tur då att det även bjöds på lokalproducerad öl. Prins Charles och hans hustru Camilla vandrade runt i drygt två timmar och tittade, shoppade och provsmakade. En hel del bakverk, bär och växter fick följa med hem, liksom en grå virkad elefant från ett av hantverksstånden. En par små gosedjurshundar fick paret i gåva av brittiska blindhundsällskapet. De fick också se sig själva och resten av kungafamiljen förevigade i papier maché – prins Charles skrattade gott åt ”prins Harry”…

Grattis prins George!

Idag säger vi grattis till prins George som fyller hela tre år. Georges föräldrar prins William och Catherine firar detta genom att presentera de här fyra fina bilderna som togs i mitten av juli vid familjens hem i Norfolk av fotografen Matt Porteous. Familjens hund Lupo fick också vara med och fira lillprinsen med en glass… Visst är de söta – både prinsen och hunden?

Hertigparet av Cornwall besöker vackra Cornwall

Prins Charles och hans hustru Camilla är på sin årliga resa i de natursköna grevskapen Cornwall och Devon i sydvästra England – ett idealiskt resmål så här i juli. Man får bara hoppas att de lyckats planera in lite tid för sig själva också, utanför det officiella programmet… Dag ett tillbringades i Cornwall, med bland annat besök på plantskola, friluftsopera, tårthugg med svärd och ett marknadsbesök.

Prins George på flyguppvisning

Lille prins George (som snart fyller tre) fick minsann följa med pappa William och mamma Catherine till flyguppvisningen på RAF Fairford i fredags. Han fick titta in i både små och stora flygplan och helikoptrar. Som skydd mot allt motorbuller fick prinsen bära hörselkåpor. Det var nog både roligt, spännande och lite läskigt för lillprinsen att döma av ansiktsuttrycket.

Prins Harrys välgörenhetskonsert

Igår kväll höll prins Harrys välgörenhetsorganisation Sentebale en konsert i Kensington Palace Gardens för att dra in pengar till hiv-drabbade barn och ungdomar i Lesotho. Sentebale grundades 2006 av prins Harry tillsammans med prins Seeiso av Lesotho. Så här glada var de bägge prinsarna i slutet av konserten! Coldplay, Laura Mvula, Joss Stone och norska duon Nico & Vinz var några kvällens artister, och i publiken syntes bland andra prinsessorna Eugenie och Beatrice, Mark och Autumn Phillips, Mike Tindall och James Blunt.

Catherine i en gammal favorit

Catherine valde en gammal beprövad favoritklänning när hon och prins William deltog i en välgörenhetsmiddag på Houghton Hall. Klänningen i skimrande rosa, strösslad med paljetter och Swarovskikristaller, kommer från Jenny Packham och bars för första gången av Kate när hon var på sitt första officiella uppdrag efter bröllopet 2011. Då som nu kombinerades klänningen med en liten väska från Prada och rosettskor från LK Bennett. De vackra örhängena är ett lån ur drottning Elizabeths smyckeskrin och armbandet tros vara från drottning Marys tid (fast då tjänstgjorde det som halsband).

Hattfnatt under Royal Ascot

Royal Ascot, drottning Elizabeths favoritvecka på året, är verkligen en hattarnas catwalk. Här visar vi ett urval av de engelska kungliga damernas val – med ett extra gästspel från kronprinsessan Mary av Danmark som besökte Ascot tillsammans med kronprins Frederik. Ett par herrhattar får också vara med, för jämlikhetens skull.

Chelsea Flower Show

Den trädgårdsintresserade engelska kungafamiljen gjorde igår ett besök på Chelsea Flower Show. Catherine som var där för första gången bar dagen till ära sin gröna kappklänning från Catherine Walker, tillsammans med pumps och liten väska från LK Bennett.
