Det var ett tag sedan jag tog mig tid att skriva här. Livet rasar på i ett galet tempo och jag har liksom inte fått tummen ur att skriva. Sorry!
I alla fall, jag har dragit iväg på äventyr till Bryssel. Imorgon ska jag medverka i en panel på EU-mötet European Business Summit tillsammans med lite VD:ar, kommissionärer och annat löst folk. Yup. Kan vara en av de galnare saker jag gjort jobbmässigt. Nu har jag iofs inte gjort det än men ni fattar. Svinhäftigt none the less!
Jag ligger i sängen på vårt hotell här, Scandic Grand Place mitt i smeten i Bryssel, och har precis ätit en mycket belgisk macka med försvarliga mängder majonäs. Försöker skriva ned de punkter jag tänker att jag ska ta upp imorgon under mina typ fem minuter jag har till förfogande. Ämnet är integration och de erfarenheter Scandic har med Snabbspåret och andra initiativ vi arbetar med för att bidra till att snabbare få nyanlända i arbete. Vi gör faktiskt en hel del och det är råcoolt, för att citera min chef.
Det ska finnas en fotograf på plats som ska ta lite bilder, hoppas kunna norpa en av dem (bild inte fotograf) och visa er imorgon!
It’s been a while since I took the time to blog. Life is passing by in a crazy tempo and I haven’t gotten around to just update you guys. Sorry!
Anyway, I’m off on an adventure in Brussels. Tomorrow, I’m going to be on a panel at the EU meeting European Business Summit together with some CEO:s, commissioners, and that lot. Yup. Might be one of the crazier work related things I’ve done. Well, haven’t done it yet, but you get it. Super exciting, none the less!
I’m in bed in our hotel here, Scandic Grand Place in the middle of the action in Brussels, have just eaten a very Belgian sandwich with a lot of mayo. Trying to type up my talking points for tomorrow, during my allotted five minutes. The topic is integration and what we can do to better integrate refugees and our experiences with the Fast Track initiative, and others that we’re working with to help with integration. We actually do quite cool stuff!
There’s going to be a photographer there tomorrow, I’m hoping to be able to steal one of the pics to show you guys!
