Making use of all the hours in the Studio in Malmö, feels like time just evaporates. There are so many pieces just waiting to be ”born”, I wish I could copy myself to get so much more done. I am so eager to see designs come alive and to share them.
Today, focus was on next item in collection Freedom of Movement, Jumpsuit Amanda. I have been working on creating the pattern in different sizes for Jumpsuit Amanda, and cutting the fabric ready for sewing.
The fabric for Amanda, first out, will be a wonderful viscose, dotted light blue and white on dark blue. The model has two dressed buttons, both back and front so you can vary the style of the piece if you wish to do so. In picture down, I have unbuttoned the top one, and folded in the front for a more evening inspired look.
As all other pieces, they will come in limited edition. In a ”green” spirit, the fabric for the models of A23, are odd lots of fabric, from top producers. Models will be the same, but the fabric will vary and only be made in limited editions. This makes your piece both environmental friendly and very unique. In the beginning we will produce only as few as 5-8 pieces per model, so you might be the only one having the model in that exact fabric and exact size!
Dotted Amanda will be one of these mini – editions, two size XS, two size S and one size M. I will be back with size charts but for now, here are some of the moments of today..
